Alpha Torchbearers
A trusted mentor for every young man.
Nationally, college enrollment among young men has dropped sharply, and about one in three young people has never had a steady adult mentor. Alpha men are already in your community, already trained and already organized to change that.
How it works
First Saturday
Your local chapter hosts an in-person community project, such as a career day, an oratorical competition or a campus visit.
Third Saturday, September through May
Every mentee joins a district-wide virtual mentorship session.
The rhythm is simple and sustainable, so it never competes with the school calendar. Every Ambassador is background-checked (Livescan certified) and trained on the program's structure and expectations before working with any student.
Who it is for
Young men who do not yet have a consistent adult mentor in their life.
Not only students who are struggling, and not only students with free time. A student's activity level, GPA or busy schedule never disqualifies anyone. The only requirement is a willingness to take part and a desire to connect with a path toward higher education, a trade or entrepreneurship.
